sold out

Saturday (Nov 16) 1:00- 3:00 pm

Presented by Cornell University Veterinarians.

This workshop features lecture material and demonstrations designed for newly licensed wildlife rehabilitators or individuals interested in becoming licensed. It is a beginner-level course. Fundamental principles and essential basic techniques will be covered regarding the care of injured or ill wildlife patients, in a lecture followed by a hands-on lab. Topics include medical math, needle and syringe handling, sterile technique, patient restraint, physical examination, methods of medication administration, tube feeding, and bandaging.

Labs must be added to a general conference ticket. You cannot come and attend only labs.

Need to buy tickets for multiple people? Purchase them one at a time, and add each person’s information to the forms that pop-up. (If you just buy 10 tickets in your name, we would have no record of the other 9 people when they arrive!) If you have trouble with this, please email us at info@nyswrc.org
