Introduction to Fluid Therapy Lab- Saturday (Nov 16) 3:30 - 4:30 pm
Saturday (Nov 16) 3:30 - 4:30 pm
There is a lecture that is a required prerequisite for this lab
Presented by Cornell University Veterinarians.
Most wildlife patients will need fluid therapy as part of their medical care. Treatment of dehydration can be a complex process and proper fluid therapy is essential to treatment success. This lecture, followed by a hands-on lab, will cover the basics of fluid therapy, including assessment of need, how to give fluids and what to use, monitoring of response, and species differences.
Labs must be added to a general conference ticket. You cannot come and attend only labs.
Need to buy tickets for multiple people? Purchase them one at a time, and add each person’s information to the forms that pop-up. (If you just buy 10 tickets in your name, we would have no record of the other 9 people when they arrive!) If you have trouble with this, please email us at info@nyswrc.org
